"The Way Up" is Ben Thomas' 5th full length studio album, and marks the first of this new chapter of his artistry. It documents the past several years of internal shifts for him... the breakdown of the “up-and-to-the-right” thinking that dominates our culture, his own spiritual de- and re-construction, and the awakening to the connectivity of all things.

It’s easily the most personal batch of songs he’s ever written, born out of fear and failure and loss and joy. He took the time necessary to let the songs grow, evolve and marinate. And, the interesting contrasts and textures that have emerged: light/dark, acoustic/ electronic, up/down make for a dynamic and highly personal listening experience.
